Michele Spagnulo - BIO (ENG)

Michele Spagnulo, born in Milan on Nov. 17th 1983, is an Italian singer-songwriter whose style is close to that of many artists in the Afro-American music scene. His passion for music was transmitted to him at the age of 4 thanks to his first music teacher, Oebele Talsma, who later became his master of classical guitar throughout adolescence. At the end of middle school, Michele is part of a cover band of Green Day as bassist and chorister. In the meantime he meets different masters (Mauro Storti, Andrea Ricca) of classical and electric guitar that improves his technique.

The study of music also continues during the years of art high school, years in which it focuses on listening to many styles of music from which today draws inspiration starting from the blues, hard rock, funky music, soul and Motown. After high school he met many professional artists during the years of study at the CPM of Franco Mussida where he enrolled in full-time singing courses. During this period he has the opportunity to become part of the LKT cover band (Lenny Kravitz Tribute) as a frontman singer and guitarist. Together with the band he plays in various Italian and European locations, practicing on professional and international stages and always trying to reach the highest level of sound quality in his work.

From 2011 to today he has been entrusting the study of singing to teachers / vocal coaches Eloisa Francia and Lalla Francia.

After having performed in various Milanese squares for years also to events such as "L'ape in piazza" (In front of the Borsa Italiana - Milan stock exchange), he is called to make the opening of an important evening at the famous "Snow Break" winter event in Sestriere, where he sings and plays in front of about 2000 people in solo with his acoustic guitar, holding the stage also in the following evenings as a frontman, with the great enthusiasm of the audience and colleagues. This experience calls him to work as a radio speaker at the WebRadio "Maliboom Boom" with headquarters in C.so di Porta Ticinese in Milan, conducting a program called "Cocco Rock".

At the same time he is a music teacher in private schools and, at the same time, at the Cuoco Sassi elementary school in Milan. In recent years, he made a personal sound able to encompass the whole musical culture absorbed over time.

In 2015 he founded his recording studio “The Golden Haze Studio” where he could record and pre-produce both his own music and that of his clients collaborating with various artists. In 2016, a particularly intense period of his life, Michele Spagnulo decided to compose his first solo pieces (of which he is also the author of the lyrics). Having matured a poly-instrumental technique over the years, he plays the entire pre-production of his first album inside The Golden Haze Studio. Subsequently develops the 12 tracks of his first LP entitled “Freedom!”. This is how a concept album was born that shows the main values discovered, maintained and shared in the course of its formation until today, inserted in an original musical context thanks to a very rich, refined and international sound.

In 2017 he enrolls in the Funky Town Music Academy to perfect his vocal technique and continue his studies, aiming every day at a higher professional level and in 2018 he obtains his degree as a professional singer from the London Trinity College.

In April 2019 he worked as Art-Director and Performer, on the occasion of the Italian event "Salone Del Mobile", on the terrace of "NH Hotel Palazzo Moscova".

In the same month he was appointed as Art-Director for the "n.10" club, in Milan - Viale Montegrappa, 10
